My practice is centred on psychotherapy, craniosacral therapy, hypnotherapy and healing - all with a transpersonal perspective and the sense of some experience of ourselves which is numinous and beyond (but also includes) our everyday awareness. My approach to this therapeutic work is to support and strengthen the mind/body's ability to heal itself through finding a natural and individual point of stillness and equilibrium from which to function.
Sessions are usually for a full hour (double sessions are also available, especially if you are travelling from a distance) and we arrange them at whatever interval is most helpful to you, depending on what you need and where you are in your life at that particular moment. To have the opportunity to tell your story and to reflect on the cycles and patterns in your life, which are often prompted by specific external events and/or internal symptoms, is valuable. To have a deep sense of time and space for self discovery and insight, with someone else alongside you, can be life changing. I listen on more than one level: both to your words and also, when appropriate, through deep yet sensitive touch, to your body and subtle energy field.
Our work together is intuitively led; I use imaging and the creative imagination to enable you to access safely any lost fragments of your experiences, so that they may be re-integrated into a more complete sense of who you are, and to discover the potential of who and what you can be.
Over many years, I have also created a series of Workshops exploring aspects of healing in various forms, including 'Feet as a Gateway to Intuitive Healing', 'Sound, Space and Silence', 'The Transforming Power of the Voice', 'Unfolding the Story - the Archaeology of the Soul's Journey' and 'The Language of Astrology - a Healing Mandala'.
There will come a time when a diseased condition will not be described as it is today by the physicians and psychologists, but it will be spoken of in musical terms, as one would speak of a piano that was out of tune.
