People I work with often feel as though they are laying down stones: either to let go of something or to build something new. Sometimes we are moving away to gain distance and objectivity; sometimes we are moving towards aspects of our lives in order to engage more fully with them, as new doors offering greater opportunity or potential.
My practice is centred on psychotherapy, craniosacral therapy, hypnotherapy and healing - all with a transpersonal perspective (the sense of some experience of ourselves which is numinous and beyond our everyday awareness). My approach to this therapeutic work is to support and strengthen the mind/body's ability to heal itself through finding a natural point of stillness and equilibrium from which to function.
Therapy sessions are usually one hour long and at whatever interval is appropriate for each person. To have the time and space for self discovery and insight, with someone else alongside you, can be life changing. I listen on more than one level: both to your words and also, through deep yet sensitive touch, to your body and subtle energy field.
With my background as a musician, I have found that the concepts inherent in music - vibration, resonance and silence - have led me to a greater understanding of the vibration and resonance of the different aspects of our being: physical, emotional, mental and transpersonal, and of their relationship as a whole.
Our work together is intuitively led, depending on what you need and where you are in your life at that particular moment. In this way, I use imaging and the creative imagination to enable you to access safely any lost fragments of your experiences, so that they may be re-integrated into a more complete sense of who you are, and to discover the potential of who and what you can be.
I have created a series of Workshops in which I explore aspects of healing in various forms, including 'Feet as a Gateway to Intuitive Healing' and 'The Language of Astrology: a Healing Mandala'.
